In July 1999 biab became part of the Council for British Archaeology, the latter now assuming sole responsibility for the management of the service.
Our thanks are extended to our colleagues at the Council for British Archaeology and especially the CBA Director, Mike Heyworth, for their invaluable help and continuing support.
We also wish to thank the staffs of the libraries in which these abstracts are prepared, notably those of the Society of Antiquaries of London and the University College London Institute of Archaeology.
biab are very grateful for the continuing financial support of the following organisations, without which the service could not continue:
Citations and abstracts are produced by Isabel Holroyd & freelance editor Damaris Dodds.
biab is also fortunate to have the services of a number of volunteer abstractors whose work is contained in the database. They are:
Tim Collins
Greg Fewer
Jon Kissock
Brendan O'Connor
Colin Wallace
biab would also like to mention the following former staff of biab and preceding services without whom this dataset would not exist. They are:
Cherry Lavell
Mike Heyworth
Adele Campbell (née Rackley)
Jeremy Oetgen
Debs Furness
Robert Bath
