Anglo-Saxon occupation at Yardley Hastings, Northants

Pages & Document Description:
93 - 98
Abstract:
Limited excavations near to Yardley Hastings' church revealed the foundation trench of a Late Saxon timber building as well as evidence of earlier activity. There is a possibility that stone structures or foundations were in use on the site as early as the seventh or eighth century.
