Abstract:
Evaluation excavations on the site of Peasholme Green laundry confirmed what surviving documentary evidence had indicated would be the garden areas of a row of medieval buildings. A trench was also dug to locate the site of the King's Fishpool. Results from a second phase of investigative activity should be known before long. Holroyd, Isabel
