Abstract:
Further work at Rawcliffe investigated possible medieval deposits. Revelations included a fishpond, field drainage ditch, and a moated site indicating what is thought to have been a shortlived manor house. Also uncovered was what appeared to be the remains of a medieval platform house. Earlier features in the guise of Iron Age pot and Iron Age/Romano-British linear field boundaries were also seen.
