Abstract:
Reports the official launch of the RCHME's new MONARCH (MONuments and ARCHives) database by the Secretary of State for national heritage, in April 1993. The strategies for inputting data and developing the system are briefly discussed. Also notes two new publications presening the way forward for maintaining a unified national archaeological database (see 93/808 & 94/72). Oetgen, Jeremy
