biab online is now an online-only service. The last standard biab online hard-copy was volume 8(2) for Autumn 2004. Towards the end of 2006 the online service will be further developed with the implementation of a new content management and knowledge organisation system.
As a result, the years 2005 and 2006 represent a changeover period between the old method of production and the new. During this time two major updates were produced. Volume 9 for 2005, containing 1,691 new records; and volume 10 for 2006 containing 1,800 new records.
The records from both these updates have been added to the online dataset. They are both also offered in PDF form, in A4 and A5 formats for download. In addition there will be the option to buy an A4 spiral-bound version or an A5 perfect-bound version from Heritage Marketing and Publications.
