Abstract:
An archaeological observation was undertaken during the erection of a conservatory at 'The Barn' in order to fulfil a condition on Listed Building Consent. The site was located within the area of a Roman fort, parts of which were a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The observation only recorded a 19th/20th century brick floor which was related to an extension to Mancetter Farm which was errected some time between 1888 and 1925. [Au(adp)]
