Abstract:
An archaeological excavation was undertaken in accordance with PPG16 as a condition of planning permission being granted. The excavation sought to record and date a ditch identified during an archaeological evaluation. The excavation identified the ditch to be of geological rather than archaeological origin, possibly representing a relict fluvio-glacial channel. [Au]
