Abstract:
A watching brief was held over the excavation of a trench for an electricity supply. The watching brief was necessary because the trench was to be dug within the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Clifford's Fort, a 17th century gun battery with later additions, however, no archaeological deposits came to light.
