Abstract:
Archaeoloical recording was carried out on a fragment of masonry exposed during reconstruction works. The structure consisted of a ragstone rubble core overlying a possible springer tone for a bridge arch. Although undated, the structure shared all the characteristics of other fragments associated with the 11th century Grandpoint Causeway. [Au(abr)]
