Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken the groundworks for the construction of a pair of semi-detached dwellings. Inspection of the footings and drainage trenches revealed no evidence of activity that predated the post-medieval period. It was possible that the present site lay outside of the boundaries of the Roman and medieval settlements. [Au(abr)]
