Abstract:
The assessment revealed that the proposed road improvement scheme might affect various archaeological features, many of which dated to the medieval period and included a possible road and ridge and furrow. An underground monitoring post built for the Royal Observers were also noted to lie near the site along with a possibly modern boundary drain. [AIP]
