Abstract:
A geophysical survey was carried out for the Channel 4 TV programme "Time Team". The surveys successfully mapped a number of buried services. The Upper Ward surveys identified a clear curving response that may have related to structural remains, as well as a second curving response associated with the Round Tower moat, a former roadway and a fuel tank. The Lower Ward surveys failed to find any features of archaeological interest. [Au(adp)]
