Abstract:
Archaeological survey work on known sites continued during 1990. An EDM survey was undertaken of the suggested Iron Age site at Dawson Close in Pen-y-Ghent Gill; this site comprises three enclosures, found to be suffering from severe erosion caused by rabbits. A series of enclosures on Parrock Hill, Fox-Up was surveyed; the central part was found to be in use as a sheepfold. EDM surveys were also carried out at Blue Scar and Thornber Barn, revealing unrecorded features at the latter. Recording exercises were undertaken at Little Angrma Barn and Fox-Up clapper bridge. AIP
