Abstract:
An archaeological assessment was undertaken in advance of proposed infrastructure work on a sewage works. A number of significant and potentially significant effects as a result of the scheme were identified. These related to the Court Road Pumping Station, the impact of vehicle movements on listed buildings and temporary impact upon the visual setting of the archaeological /heritage resource in some locations. Further archaeological mitigation was recommended including watching briefs and evaluation. [Au(adp)]
