Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for a new dwelling. The site lay within the historic core of a village of archaeological significance, and observations recorded a multiple inhumation burial, probably of Roman date. The burials were lifted because they were threatened by the development. In addition, a linear feature, possibly an infilled boundary ditch or soakaway, was recorded. [Au(abr)]
