Abstract:
An archaeological survey was undertaken to asses the possible archaeological implications of the proposed widening of the A1. The study comprised desk-top study and surface inspection of identified sites. A number of sites were identified dating from the prehistoric to the medieval period. Recommendations were made, where appropriate, for further investigation. [Au(abr)]
