Abstract:
Archaeological recording was undertaken on Wares Gill Culvert. The culvert is 41.5 metres long and falls 2.36 metres from north-west to south-east. The culvert ends are built largely from sandstone and show some signs of repair and damage. Damage and erosion are worse at the northern end and around the middle of the culvert. AIP
