Abstract:
The watching brief identified a number of deposits relating to levelling activity within Area 1. Two pit-like features were identified and dated to the post-medieval or modern period. These features and artefactual evidence suggested a low level of activity within the development site and no structural remains relating to the post-medieval building depicted on cartographic sources were identified. One undated post hole was recorded, sealed by a post-medieval or modern deposit that blanked the site in this area. [Au(abr)]
