Abstract:
Publishes the 1854 (Petrie) and 1982-3 (Henshall) excavations of the cairn, supported by modern analysis of the extant remains. Specialist reports on the human remains and the artefacts are included, and conclusions relating to the diet of people and animals on Neolithic Papa Westray are drawn.
